Old Navy Coupon!!

Wahoo...I don't know if I've ever been more excited about a coupon before! Lately, I've been following a lot of neat money-saving blogs to see if I could cut our grocery budget down from about $1,000 a month and I'm proud to say that I've done that this month and cut it down to $400...more than HALF! That's partially why I haven't posted blogs in a while because this definitely keeps me busy, but I guess is well worth it! I use to just clip a few coupons, head to the store, and be so excited when I'd save $15-20 in one trip. (If you're interested in knowing the money-saving blogs I follow, let me know and I'll forward them to you!)

Anyways, OldNavyWeekly.com hides several coupons on there each week (usually reloads on Thursdays) and a big coupon on there is $75 off $100 purchase. I tried last week to get it and even stayed up til 2 a.m. trying, but no luck (I really enjoy the challenge:). Last night, I tried at 8 p.m. and found they reloaded sooner than expected and after clicking all around to find the hidden objects that hold the coupons, I was able to get the $75 off $100 coupon!! Wahoo! I'm so excited about this! A couple weeks back I was able to go and get 2 dresses for Katherine and a pair of socks for Christopher using a $10 off coupon and only paid $.47 out of pocket. WOW! Stuff like this just gets me excited! Anyways, I'll be posting pictures of Matthew's birthday party tomorrow and doing updates soon...I promise!

I'm going to have to try the Old Navy site! Wanted to let you know that our blog address has changed. It's now threemoonsandadog.wordpress.com, so the link on your sidebar doesn't work anymore. Had fun catching up with your blog! :o)

Mary,
I saw that you were looking for a regular Bordon coupon on the coke post on hop2save. You should be able to find one on smartsource with the zip 75429. They also have one on there for organic milk. I didn't know where else to post this for you.

6 years...

So it's January 19th...our anniversary! I can't believe we've been married for six years. In some ways it seems like we've been married such a loooonngg time, but in other ways it feels like we're still dating. Nevertheless, the past 6 years have been great, even as I remember the challenges we've faced together. I think they've just made us stronger. I can honestly say that after 6 years, we have never had a fight where both of us were angry and yelling at each other...like the movies. Thank the Lord! There may have been times where we weren't just soo lovey dovey with each other, or may have said things that weren't nice, but for some reason we seem to get over it quickly and move on. I'm thankful for Daniel and how loving he is towards me and his consistency in showing love to me no matter what. After 6 years, 3 kids, 4 apartments, 1 house, 1 dog, and 3 cities later, I'm so blessed to have Daniel as my husband!

Our Thanksgiving

I know this is a little late, but better late than never right!? We had a very fun Thanksgiving this year, as usual, visiting the families in Houston. We ate great food, as always, had fun family time, and I even got to spend kidless girl time with my sister which was lots of fun! Grandpa Farmer was here for Thanksgiving this year and this man just amazes me. This is Daniel's almost 92 year old Grandpa with Christopher, almost 7 months old. Grandpa is in such great health and puts most 70 year olds to shame! We went to a Christmas tree farm the day after Thanksgiving and he was walking all through the forest carrying a measuring stick for the tree and did a great job keeping up with us! Not only does he NOT need a cane, wheel chair, dentures, a nursing home, or any of those other "old-people" things, but he does an amazing job holding a conversation and following a football game! Anyways, he is a great Godly man and an honor to be around. I hope my boys will follow in his...
